SAGD Production Waste and Water Study

A study designed to provide a detailed overview of current operational conditions of a thermal energy plant, which consists of drafting piping and instrumentation diagram (P&IDs) and process flow diagrams (PFDs), sampling plan, and an evaluation of the water chemistry. Following the completion of the water chemistry evaluation, Integrated Sustainability conducted a multi-criteria evaluation which assessed water treatment technologies and optimization strategies to reduce disposal costs.

Waste Process Optimization for Operating Cost Reduction

Integrated Sustainability investigated opportunities to improve the management of waste at a gas processing facility in British Columbia in order to achieve operational cost savings. The team was also tasked with developing Class 5 estimates regarding CAPEX investments required to achieve OPEX savings.

Permian Basin Water Chemistry & Treatment Evaluation

Scale formation in the client’s produced water pipeline has been a challenge, resulting in unnecessary pigging and chemical treatment costs. The client requested that Integrated Sustainability conduct and evaluation to mitigate the scale formation as well as determine an optimal approach to reuse of produced water.

Industrial Boiler Optimization Study

Evaluate the potential process advantages and operational issues associated with boiler “rifle tube” retrofits for an Industrial Water Treatment Plant. Moreover, it was critical to consider additional equipment required, and whether increased maintenance wold be needed.

Zero Lime Softening Engineering

Predict the quantity and types of solids that will form in the disposal tank and in downstream disposal dumps, pipeline, and disposal well at an operating SAGD Central Processing Facility.
