Mine Camp Water Management Infrastructure Planning
Project Highlights
Integrated Sustainability completed a mine water management and infrastructure planning project for a mining camp that involved groundwater well assessments, potable water treatment, sewage system review, and total suspended solids management. Construction, commissioning, the development of an operation and maintenance manual were provided.
Project Deliverables
- Conducted assessment of groundwater wells to determine well production capacity for the purpose of providing water to the camp.
- Reviewed sewage collection and septic storage / effluent system.
- Performed engineering review of camp drinking water treatment system and guided development of engineering documents to confirm proper drinking water sanitation and system function.
- Provided construction and commissioning services. Developed on Operations & Maintenance manual for the water treatment plant.
- Provided design interface support for integration with building structures, electrical distribution, and control systems.
