The Challenge
A small section of a potable water main on Salt Spring Island was exposed within a creek crossing and sustained external damage. Integrated Sustainability was retained to replace the section of the water main and install the new section one meter below the creek bed, as per updated BC regulatory guidelines.
The Result
Integrated Sustainability prepared the drawings, specifications, and the scope of work documents for the General Contractor. Along with these, multiple permit applications were prepared and submitted on behalf of the client. The works were completed in the summer of 2018 and Integrated Sustainability provided construction management for the project execution.
