Mine Seepage Capture Upgrade & Reuse Slurry Line Construction Specifications
Project Highlights
Integrated Sustainability developed construction specifications for earthworks and associated infrastructure supporting reclaimed water and slurry pipelines. The scope included trenching, backfill, erosion control, access roads, and pump station grading across multiple facilities. These works enabled the physical corridor and supporting infrastructure needed to advance water recirculation and tailings transport for future site operations.
Project Deliverables
- Prepared earthworks specifications covering trenching, fill placement, subgrade preparation, and erosion control for over 4km of pipeline corridor.
- Defined material requirements and gradation criteria for bedding sand, road base, and compacted fill to meet compaction and drainage targets.
- Outlined protocols for construction in freezing conditions, including trench insulation and seasonal backfill management.
- Integrated right-of-way grading and road access plans to support pipeline construction and long-term operational use.
- Included trench insulation and silt fence installation procedures to reduce frost penetration and manage sediment runoff.
- Specified installation methods for riprap, valve chambers, and pipe insulation across water and slurry line crossings.
