The Challenge
Integrated Sustainability was tasked with selecting an appropriate pipeline route to carry and unconfirmed volumetric flow rate of natural gas to connect into a major transmission line connecting to the British Columbia coast. The criteria for success was to eliminate unnecessary crossings, keep costs down by keeping length to a minimum, and to avoid landowners of stakeholders who may object.
The Result
A pipeline route that minimizes intersection with environmentally sensitive areas while providing direct routing. This was accomplished through the use of desktop tools with minimal field investigations.
