The Challenge
Develop a water supply strategy for a client’s in-situ operations, including an evaluation of the Judith River Aquifer and potential impacts of water withdrawals on nearby cross-border water users, with the intent of securing a long term-water license in Saskatchewan.
The Result
Integrated Sustainability provided technical direction for the successful installation and testing of two water supply wells in the Judith River Aquifer. A detailed hydrogeological evaluation, including monitoring of nearby landowner domestic wells and a review of potential trans-boundary effects, has been submitted to the Water Security Agency and Alberta Environment and Parks for review.
