Integrated Sustainability Opens New Office Location in Barbados

Calgary, June 13, 2018 – Integrated Sustainability is thrilled to announce the opening of our 5th office location in Barbados.

Plans to develop operations in Barbados were initiated by the tremendous opportunity for improved water, waste, and renewable energy management in the Caribbean. After gaining an understanding of the region and the challenges faced by local communities, we uncovered a great need for our specialized services and innovative solutions. With the opening of this 5th office location, Integrated Sustainability is excited to both better serve the needs of our current and future Caribbean clients and increase our presence throughout the region.

“This is such an exciting opportunity for the company,” says Nick St-Georges, Vice President of Strategic Development at Integrated Sustainability. “The opening of this Caribbean office location also aligns directly with one of our company’s strategies to diversify our portfolio, not only with new clients, but also in new geographic locations. This Barbados office will allow us better access to provide our services to the entire CARICOM region as well as Central & South America. Barbados was a favourable location for several reasons, including transportation (most flights to other islands run through Barbados), business (many of our clients and affiliated stakeholders including some of the IFI Banks are headquartered out of Barbados), safety (Cat. 3-5 Hurricanes are less likely to hit the lower islands such as Barbados) and more.”

The new office, located in St. James, Barbados, is one of many important and exciting changes for the company in 2018. With rapid growth since the beginning of the year, Integrated Sustainability has hired more than 30 new employees and moved to a larger head office space in the downtown core of Calgary, AB.

Integrated Sustainability could not be more enthusiastic about continuing our path to growth in the CARICOM Region, and establishing this new office location further demonstrates our commitment and motivation to provide services to the Caribbean.
