Industrial Wastewater Infrastructure Expansion Planning

Integrated Sustainability - Industrial Water Treatment Services and Equipment
project details

Disposal Pipeline Engineering

project overview

Integrated Sustainability was contracted to support wastewater infrastructure planning; a pump station technology evaluation was completed alongside pipeline modelling for a facility expansion. Modelling incorporated topography, flow demands, and water chemistry to select a pump configuration.

project deliverables

  • Performed hydraulic modelling to assess pipeline pressure, velocity, and transient conditions under varying flow and elevation profiles.
  • Applied remote sensing and terrain analysis to optimize pipeline alignment and reduce head loss across the system.
  • Evaluated multiple pump station technologies with respect to corrosion resistance, redundancy, scalability, and operational robustness.
  • Recommended pump configuration with staged duty-standby arrangement to support future flow increases without equipment over-sizing.
  • Delivered technical memo summarizing results of the pump technology screening and lifecycle cost assessment.
  • Identified material compatibility requirements based on water chemistry and proposed coatings, liner types, and metallurgy for key components.
