Integrated Sustainability was contracted to upgrade the South Coast Collection and Treatment Facility in Barbados, which receives 4,000,000 gpd from a densely populated coastal area. The team replaced aging equipment with a medium-fine screen and grit removal chamber, all integrated into live operations. The retrofit improved solids capture, minimized operator exposure, and reinforced the plant’s ability to protect coastal waters.

• Prepared as-built documentation to guide retrofit integration into existing infrastructure.
• Delivered custom-designed medium-fine screening and grit removal systems with suppliers to suit site conditions.
• Installed washing, compacting, and bagging components for screened solids to improve operator hygiene and handling.
• Removed obsolete screening and grit equipment without interrupting flow or plant functionality.
• Executed all mechanical and electrical installation tasks within a live system, avoiding treatment disruptions.
