Integrated Sustainability delivered a fully integrated non-potable reuse system to support a growing residential and commercial development, repurposing treated wastewater for toilet flushing and irrigation. The system included seasonal discharge infrastructure to augment a dry stream, aligning water reuse with watershed restoration goals.

• Prepared a comprehensive Environmental Impact Study and detailed Operations Plan to support regulatory registration under the Municipal Wastewater Regulation.
• Reduced the development’s potable water demand by incorporating a site-wide recycled water distribution system with seasonal discharge management strategies.
• Engineered stream augmentation infrastructure to return excess reclaimed water to an otherwise intermittent watercourse, enhancing ecosystem resilience during low-flow conditions.
• Acted as liaison with the Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Health to secure dual-agency authorizations within a complex regulatory framework.
• Integrated design optimizations focused on treatment reliability and distribution efficiency while balancing lifecycle performance and cost containment.
