Integrated Sustainability designed a decentralized wastewater treatment and disposal system for a 400-person exploration camp in the Yukon. The system met effluent standards and enabled freeze protection, and environmentally safe discharge approved by the Yukon Water Board.

• Achieved a decentralized wastewater treatment and disposal system for a 400-person camp in the Yukon Territory.
• Designed a packaged wastewater treatment plant meeting required effluent standards.
• Integrated a subsurface wastewater infiltration system for treated effluent discharge.
• Engineered freeze protection measures to prevent freezing in pipes and infiltration fields in extreme temperatures.
• Secured necessary permitting from the provincial water board for safe discharge.
• Installed upgradient and downgradient groundwater sampling stations for environmental monitoring.
