project details

Engineering and Cost Estimating for Mine Water Treatment Plant Supporting Feasibility Study

project overview

Integrated Sustainability was retained to develop the necessary engineering deliverables for a mine water treatment process plant to inform a NI43-101 Feasibility Study as well as support a Joint Application information requirement. The project included engineering and cost estimating services to support each mine development milestone and address influent and effluent water quality.

project deliverables

  • Completed a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) to develop engineering documentation and cost estimates for proposed water treatment processes.
  • Prepared and submitted a Joint Application (JA1) deliverable to support regulatory approval for preliminary water treatment engineering associated with the bulk sample phase.
  • Developed a draft environmental assessment incorporating water quality predictions and treatment strategies informed by previous feasibility studies.
  • Prepared technical memoranda and cost estimates aligned with regulatory milestones and project development schedules.
  • Identified and documented risk mitigation strategies to support permitting, treatment implementation, and long-term operational planning.
