Integrated Sustainability conducted a technical review and consultation to support a Best achievable Technology (BAT) assessment for a mining client. By evaluating background documentation and participating in methodology development and workshops, we helped guide the selection of appropriate technologies. Our involvement reinforced the assessment’s alignment with current regulatory expectations and industry standards.

• Integrated Sustainability reviewed water chemistry data and treatment strategies for a specific site to assess the applicability of best available technologies (BAT) and identify outstanding knowledge gaps.
• The BAT assessment methodology was evaluated for alignment with British Columbia’s regulatory framework, including connections to site performance objectives and technology readiness assessment criteria.
• Completed a detailed technical review of the draft assessment document with recommendations provided.
• Stakeholder workshops were attended to support the development of screening and feasibility criteria, contributing to a structured decision-making process for BAT selection.
