project details

153,600 m3 Freshwater Reservoir Construction Support

project overview

Integrated Sustainability deployed a multi-disciplinary team to site to support construction of an unlined freshwater reservoir designed to store 153,600 m³. Geotechnical drilling and laboratory testing informed a long-term static stability assessment, guiding embankment and slope configurations. A dam failure consequence classification was completed to define design criteria, followed by development of dam operations, maintenance, and surveillance manuals to support safe commissioning.

project deliverables

  • Delivered detailed Civil 3D design drawings including site grading plans, embankment cross-sections, and drainage layouts.
  • Developed geotechnical design parameters and embankment stability models to establish dam geometry.
  • Prepared comprehensive design calculations and design basis memorandum documenting load cases and factor of safety assessments.
  • Generated technical specifications for earthworks, compaction, and material testing requirements.
  • Compiled construction tender documents and bid package including drawings, specifications, and quantities.
  • Designed instrumentation and monitoring layout for embankment performance evaluation.
  • Produced Construction Supervision Plan outlining field inspection protocols and quality control procedures.
