Integrated Sustainability was engaged to design permanent upgrades to the water treatment and distribution system following emergency repairs and servicing of the wastewater system. The scope focused on addressing reliability concerns through integration of a new well, pump replacements, and improved disinfection.

project deliverables

  • Designed tie-in of a new well into the existing water system with updated routing, valving, and backflow protection.
  • Sized and specified upgraded distribution pumps to meet site pressure requirements and seasonal demand variability.
  • Prepared a wellhead protection plan outlining risk sources, protection zones, and recommendations for land use controls.
  • Delivered a revised operations and maintenance manual including updated procedures, system schematics, and safety protocols.
  • Confirmed system upgrades align with applicable drinking water standards and operational guidelines.
  • Provided recommendations for future automation and monitoring improvements to reduce operator burden.
