Integrated Sustainability - Industrial Water Treatment Services and Equipment
project details

Food Manufacturing Facility Wastewater Treatment Plant

project overview

Integrated Sustainability supported the installation and commissioning of a wastewater treatment plant for a food manufacturing facility in Barbados with a combined daily flow of 23,000 liters. The system incorporated a Dissolved Air Flotation unit for primary treatment and a bioreactor with anoxic and aerobic zones for tertiary treatment. All services were delivered without disrupting the plant’s ongoing meat and dairy operations.

project deliverables

  • Completed pipe sizing and system layout during early site assessments to integrate with both fibre glass tanks and containerized treatment units.
  • Adapted process and instrumentation diagrams to align with site-specific equipment and treatment staging.
  • Prepared general arrangement drawings to guide membrane bioreactor system placement and optimize equipment access.
  • Oversaw delivery logistics, off-loading, and crane-assisted placement of containerized components.
  • Installed all loose-shipped equipment including diffusers, pumps, piping, instrumentation, and electrical connections across tanks and modules.
  • Commissioned both primary and tertiary treatment stages, conducted chemical fills, and delivered full start-up documentation and maintenance protocols.
