Belize National Climate Adaptation Plan

project overview

Integrated Sustainability developed Belize’s National Adaptation Plan for agriculture and water sectors to address climate change impacts. It included climate risk assessments, gender analysis, policy development, and stakeholder workshops. The plan prepares Belize for anticipated challenges in food, water, and energy systems, strengthening its resilience and promoting sustainable development.

• Designed a NAP roadmap and an integrated National Adaptation Plan for the agriculture and water sectors.
• Reviewed and updated the climate resilience strategy and action plan to address gaps and alignment with the existing plan.
