SAGD expansion projects present a complex set of environmental and regulatory challenges during both the engineering phase and the construction phase. Therefore, Integrated Sustainability was retained to provide environmental and regulatory services during these phases of both a Central Processing Facility and Utilities & Infrastructure as part of a SAGD facility expansion.
Integrated Sustainability developed polices and procedures for a variety of environmental components including:

- Soil management
- Water management
- Air quality
- Environmental training/orientation
- Non-compliance events
Integrated Sustainability also reviewed existing requirements set by both the client and the regulators to minimize the risk of environmental impacts.
