Federal Government Opening Consultation for GHG Emissions Reduction Targets & Various Initiatives – Have Your Say!

The federal government is opening consultation and engagement activities for GHG Emission Reduction Targets, Right to Healthy Environment, and Design Options for Clean Electricity.

Furthermore, the Government of Alberta released the 2024 Budget – notable initiatives include funding for emissions reduction programs, new intake construction, water management initiatives, and drought preparedness.

In addition to these developments, the Government of BC announced a new industrial carbon pricing system, effective 1 April 2024.
